4172 asylum seekers sought protection in Sweden in January
In January 2016 , a Total of 4172 asylum seekers sought protection in Sweden.The countries with thé highest number of applicants are Syria,Iraq and Afghanistan.The asylum seekers comprises of 2546 Males,1626 Females and 1838 Children.
The largest group of unaccompanied minors were Afghans out of 637 lone Children applicants.
