Terrorism and vandalism are in no way associated with religion and Islam - Georgian President
Terrorism and vandalism are in no way associated with religion and Islam to me,President Giorgi Margvelashvili said in his speech delivered at the event dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance at the Presidential Palace.
According to him, in light of the tragic events of France it is even more important the world to unite against aggression and terror.
"Today our presence here is probably very important. We must stand together to strengthen the values of tolerance. In light of the tragic events of France it is even more important the world to unite and respond to aggression and terror in a stronger way.
Terror will never change us so that we cannot accept the different. I want to emphasize once again that terrorism and vandalism are in no way associated with religion and Islam in particular. I want to underline that Islam is not associated with the atrocities that happened in France and other countries”, said the President.
